Submitting a Leave Request

Overview

The Leaves tab in the Self Service module lets you quickly request time off and track the approval process — all in one place.

You can select the leave type, specify dates in a calendar view, and attach any required documents, ensuring a smooth and transparent approval workflow.

Steps to Submit a Leave Request

  1. Open the Leaves tab Go to Self Service → Leaves to access your leave dashboard.

  2. Click “Create”

    • In the top-right corner of the Leaves view, click the Create button to open the request form.

  3. Fill in the leave request form

    Complete the required fields:

    • Leave type – choose from vacation, sick leave, special leave, etc.

    • Comment – provide additional details if necessary.

    • Attachment (optional) – upload supporting documents, e.g., a medical certificate or statement for special leave.

  4. Select leave dates

    • Use the built-in calendar view to pick the exact days.

    • Click on the desired dates to add them to your request.

  5. Submit the request

    • Once all details are filled in, click Submit.

    • The request will automatically be sent to your assigned approver.

  6. Track approval status

    • After submission, you can monitor the request’s progress directly in the Leaves dashboard.

    • Status indicators include Pending, Approved, or Rejected.
