Logging and Reviewing Hours

Overview

The Hours view in Tthe WorkLyft allows you to track your recorded working hours, pulled directly from connected external systems such as YouTrack or Jira.

You can easily review your total logged hours, filter by date ranges, and analyze how your time is distributed across different projects.

Steps to Review Your Logged Hours

  1. Open the Hours view

    Go to Self Service → Hours to access your time-tracking dashboard.

  2. Set the date range

    Use the filters at the top to select the period you want to review:

    • Previous Month – quickly review the last month’s hours

    • Current Month – check your ongoing month

    • Today – focus on today’s logged time

    • Or choose a custom date range

  3. Review your total recorded hours

    Below the filters, see the TOTAL field, showing the total number of hours logged within the selected period.

  4. Analyze the hours table

    The main table displays a detailed breakdown of your logged hours, including:

    • Date – when the work was performed

    • Project – which project the hours belong to

    • Task/Reference – external ticket number from Jira/YouTrack

    • Recorded hours – time reported for each task

  5. Check hours per project (optional)

    On the right-hand panel, under Per Project, see a summary of how your logged time is distributed across different projects.
