Checking Your Assets

Overview

The Assets tab in the Self Service module gives you full visibility into the company-owned equipment assigned to you — such as laptops, mobile devices, or access cards.

You can check specifications, confirm possession, and report missing or incorrect items — all in one place.


Who Benefits

Employees – view and confirm assigned company assets

Managers – ensure accurate asset tracking within their teams

Finance & IT Teams – maintain correct inventory and resolve discrepancies quickly


Steps to Track Your Assigned Assets

  1. Open the Assets tab

    Go to Self Service → Assets to view all items assigned to you.

  2. Review asset details

    In the table, you can see:

    • Specification – Name/model of the assigned item (e.g., MacBook Pro, Access Card).

    • Serial number – Manufacturer’s unique ID.

    • Company number – Internal asset ID in the company’s inventory.

    • Status –

      • Confirmed (green) → The asset is confirmed and assigned to you.

      • Unconfirmed (red) → The asset is not yet confirmed.

    • Last status change – Date and time of the latest update.

    • Gross / Net value – Asset value, useful for reporting or internal accounting.

  3. Confirm asset possession

    In the “Do you have it?” column:

    • Click YES (✔) if you physically have the asset.

    • Click NO (❌) if you don’t have it or have returned it.

  4. Report missing or incorrect assets

    If an assigned item is missing or the list is incorrect:

    • Scroll to the bottom of the page.

    • Click “Cannot find your asset? REPORT IT” to notify the responsible department.
