Tracking Project Budgets

Overview

The Budgets tab provides you with a high-level overview of all project budgets you’re assigned to.

You can review roles, team composition, who approves your leave or hours, and — when necessary — remove yourself from a budget you’re no longer involved in.


Who Benefits

Employees – view the projects you’re part of and understand who manages approvals

Project Managers – get visibility into team members and responsibilities per budget

HR & Finance Teams – track budget ownership and ensure consistent approval structures


Steps to Track Your Project Budgets

  1. Go to the Budgets tab

    Navigate to Self Service → Budgets to view a list of all active budgets you’re associated with.

  2. Review the budget list

    Each row in the table gives you the following info:

    • Name – the title of the project budget

    • Admins – people who manage the budget setup and ownership

    • Leave Request Approvers – people who approve your time-off requests within this project

    • Hours Approvers – people who review your reported hours

    • Members – the full list of team members assigned to this budget

  3. Sign out of a budget

    If you’re no longer active in a project:

    • Click the “Sign out of budget” button on the right side of the relevant row.

    • This action removes your association and stops future assignments or approvals within that budget.


Outcome

  • Keep track of who manages and approves your work within each project

  • Confirm which budgets you’re currently contributing to

  • Ensure proper project alignment and reduce administrative overhead
