# Time Tracking & Hour Logging

The Hours module allows you to review your logged working time — synced directly from external issue tracking systems like YouTrack or JIRA. This provides transparency and control over how your time is being recorded and accounted for across projects.

### **Main functions**

1. **Hours Table**

This table contains details of the hours reported, broken down into columns. The data is taken from an external system, e.g. Jira, YouTrack. Each logged hour appears as a row in the table.

2. **Date filters (time range)**

At the top, you can set the date range (From - To) for which you want to view the reported hours you spent on your tasks.

3. **Summary: Total Hours**

Just below the filters, you’ll see a TOTAL value (e.g. 160h) showing the number of hours recorded for the selected time range. This gives you a clear picture of your overall activity.

#### 4. Side Panel: Hours per Project

On the right-hand side, you’ll find the **Per project summary**:

* Lists each project you’ve worked on during the selected period
* Displays the total hours logged per project

This gives you a quick view of where your time is going — especially helpful for reviewing focus and effort distribution across multiple clients or internal initiatives.

**Why This Matters?**

* Ensures your logged time is transparent and traceable
* Helps validate payroll or invoice processing
* Lets you spot missing or duplicate entries
* Aligns internal allocations with real work done
