# Access Groups

The **Access Groups** tab provides tools to define and manage user groups in the system allowing them to use the system’s features on your terms. 

These groups are used to control access to:

* Categories
* Tasks
* Workflow templates

Admins can:

* Create and name groups
* Assign multiple users to each group

An employee can belong to more than one access group.
