Hours

The Hours tab in the Project Management module allows project managers to review, manage, and approve hours logged by project members.It provides full control over time tracking, ensuring accurate settlements and preventing billing issues

From this view, you can:

  • See all hours logged by project members

  • Filter the data by multiple parameters

  • Approve or reset hours directly from the list

  • Ensure project hours are validated monthly before settlements

This feature is crucial for preparing accurate monthly closings and project billing.


Key Features

1. Filtering Logged Hours

Use the filters at the top to quickly find the data you need:

  • Month → Select the reporting period

  • Employee → View hours for specific team members

  • Budget → Narrow results to a particular budget (one project can have multiple)

  • State → Filter by approval status:

    • All → Show all reported hours

    • Waiting → Hours pending your approval

    • Confirmed → Approved hours

    • Denied → Rejected hours

    • To Discuss → Hours requiring clarification


2. Reviewing Hours

  • The main table displays:

    • Employee name

    • Budget the hours belong to

    • Reported hours per day or period

    • Approval status and notes (if applicable)

  • Click any record to open a detailed view of submitted hours.


3. Approving or Resetting Hours

  • To approve filtered hours:

    1. Apply the desired filters (e.g., “Waiting” + “Current Month”)

    2. Click Accept All

      → Approves all filtered entries instantly.

  • To reset approvals:

    1. Apply the relevant filters

    2. Click Reset

      → Moves the hours back to Waiting state for review.


4. Monthly Workflow

At the end of each month, Project Managers should:

  1. Filter by the current month

  2. Review all hours logged by the team

  3. Approve the correct entries

  4. Ensure no pending hours remain in Waiting state

    (otherwise, monthly settlement cannot be closed)

  • Always complete approvals before monthly closing to avoid delays

  • Combine this view with Stats → Hours for deeper insights into team performance
