# Deduction Types

The **Deduction Types** section is used to configure optional or mandatory salary deductions (e.g., for gym cards, private health care).

Administrators can define:

* The name of the deduction
* A brief description
* Fixed deduction value

This ensures transparency and automation in salary calculations.
